In 1997, Kukkapuro was asked to design a collection of chairs for the newly renovated Museum of Applied Arts in Helsinki. The tattooed Chair came out, it has not only the utmost simplicity but also be visually exciting. The cooperation with graphic designer, all give it unique characteristic and make it meaningful and have collection value. 

Kukkapuro got the dragon pattern from the collection of Fang Hai, a doctorate student in UIAH (University of Art and Design Helsinki). Therefore, the motif was scanned directly from an anonymous Chinese paper cutting and then high- pressure laminated.
